USA Wrong Messages to Pakistan

I am continuously thinking about why the world hats USA or especially, why Pakistanis think that USA is their enemy. What I got is that USA want to do what it wants, and it does’t matter what Pakistanis think and what Pakistanis care about.

They took Aafia Sidique and Pakistanis found that she was missing for five years.

They captured Faisal Shehzad on Bomb blast plan and everyone said that Faisal Shehzad did not to do a blast at all. What he wanted to show that he is going to do a blast, but in a very secure way. Because, a real bomb plotter must not do what he did. And so on.

And, American carries on drone attacks, on regular basis and kill women and children. USA don’t consider the victims as human beings, and so on.

And now, Raymond Davis has killed 3 people, and now he is going to be free. What we see in media that USA is asking and commanding Pakistanis to free Raymond Davis as soon as possible. USA is calling Internal Ministry, USA is contacting opposition leaders, USA is calling Police to obey it, and USA is calling everyone. But what is USA not doing to look to Judiciary, which is the Dearest to Pakistanis, and which is free to do reasonable and clear justice.

Pakistani newspapers are full of the news that USA ambassadors called which ones and what were their demands. And everyone is talking about it, and I don’t know what talk is made by USA media? They are going to hide everything from Americans, and then USA government will handle it very poorly and at the end Obama will ask: Why the world hats USA?

USA must Stop Supporting Dictatorship now

Its time for USA to stop supporting dictatorship in other countries, and apologize for the past. USA has been supporting dictators and ruining democracy all over the world, on name of secularism and ant-extremism. Egypt is one such example.

Pakistanis blame USA for most of the problems they are facing now, as USA has supported Ayub Khan, Zia-ul-Haq, and Musharraf. And now Musharraf is in USA.

Egyptians are also thinking that Hosni Mubarak is President yet only due to illegal US interventions.

USA is considering itself a champion of freedom, democracy, and human-rights, but on the contrary, USA is also a full-supporter of the dictators who are violating freedom, democracy, and human-rights of people in their countries.

This is the main reason for the so poor image of USA in the world, specially the developing world. And the most affected ones are the common Americans who apparently know nothing about these.

Musharraf Can Do This…

Now a days, Musharraf is one of the most hated person. I myself don’t like him much either.

But I accept that he had some good qualities, which were liked by people, and now a days, Musharraf is talking about controversial issues and becoming more and more controversial. And as time passes, the number of his friends decreases.

But, if he make a small change in his direction, he can get a good reputation inside Pakistan.

I am not a politician, neither an expert. I am just a simple Pakistani and want to be a good human  being. So, these suggestions are for him to do something more good.

  1. Musharraf should raise voice for education improvement in Pakistan. In PPP government, the overall education and its quality degraded a lot. So, he can talk about education, to get attention, a good one.
  2. Musharraf was a good supporter of Science and Technology in Muslim World and in Pakistan. He talked about this a lot. So, if he starts talking about it again, I will start to love him.
  3. Musharraf is trying to pressurize current government, but he has no good arguments. So, he can use the first two points to do so.
  4. Humans make mistakes, and Musharraf was also a human being. So, if he admits that he had made mistakes, and also say that making mistakes doesn’t mean that he don’t love his country.
  5. Musharraf should avoid to talk about the persons and issues in which Pakistani media is against him. He should try to find-out some common ground, and the above points are the ones which he can use.
  6. Musharraf was the most educated Pakistani leader, and he should tell others that hatred and love must be conditional, and Pakistanis often go blindly. And I am sure, Musharraf can convince people for this very easily.

The above points are much more beneficial for Musharraf him self and for Pakistan and the whole world. Otherwise, Musharraf has done a lot of wrong stuff that Pakistanis will hate him for a long time. He should do something better now. Its call of the time.

Good Luck Musharraf.

Musharraf is not all Wrong…

Despite several disagreements with Musharraf, I think he also had several good qualities, which are absent on most of Pakistani politicians. I am listing some of them as follows.

  1. Musharraf was an educated person and loved education. He tried to compel politicians to have degrees (an apparent indication of being educated).
  2. He promoted Science and Technology in Pakistan, and brought best people back to Pakistan.
  3. He loved to see Muslim world to be developed in science and technology.
  4. He introduced media freedom in Pakistan, and it was he who allowed private TV channels to operate. And at first time, in Pakistan history, newspapers started to criticize government freely.
Ya, one can say that he banned media, but it was what the former governments used to do!
  5. He showed bravery at most instances, and he was not afraid of what people would think about him. He had guts to say to anyone that ‘you have this problem, buddy’.
  6. I think, he was first leader in Pakistan history who could listen criticism.

  7. He was the one who can stand in any place and could debate with anyone. Please tell me which Pakstani leader can or could do this. Can Zardari, Nawaz Shareef, Shihbaz Shareef, Ch. Shujaat, PM Gilani, Imran Khan, Fazlur Rehman, or anyone else do so? If yes, then please tell me when and where they engaged in an open debate at a university etc.
  8. Pakistan economy evolved, despite the terrorism, and showed good signs. Look at Wikipedia for Economy of Pakistan.

Please don’t blame me for supporting Musharraf. I myself don’t like him, as he had several problems. But i am not blind either.
